Navy SEAL relates deeds of heroism, faith, survival

Leading Petty Officer Marcus Luttrell fought  to stay alive after a hellacious battle with the Taliban in the Hindu Kush Mountains of Afghanistan. He vowed to tell the story of  his brave U.S. Navy SEAL teammates, Lt. Michael Murphy, Petty Officer Matthew Axelson and Petty Officer Danny Dietz  and to deliver the story and their dying words to their families.

The book, “Lone Survivor,” recounts Operation Redwing and recognizes its heroes.
